1. Platform Description

EduOne is an AI-powered Learning Management System (LMS) that provides tools including but not limited to:

• AI-assisted exam paper creation
• AI-assisted answer grading
• Student performance analytics
• Question banks
• Exam management
• Result reporting
• Teacher and institute management tools

EduOne is intended for use by:

• Teachers teaching any subject or curriculum worldwide
• Students from approximately 8 years of age to university level
• Parents monitoring student academic progress
• Educational Institutes and Administrators

Access levels include:

• Teacher Accounts
• Student Accounts
• Parent Accounts
• Institute Admin Accounts

Super Admin access is restricted exclusively to FONIX EDU (PVT) LTD.

2. AI-Assisted System Disclaimer

EduOne uses Artificial Intelligence technologies to assist in:

• Question generation
• Grading
• Evaluation
• Analytics
• Learning recommendations

While EduOne strives to provide accurate outputs, AI-generated results may contain errors. Users acknowledge and agree that:

• AI outputs are assistive tools, not final authoritative academic decisions.
• Teachers are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and confirming AI-generated grading or evaluation before releasing results to students.
• EduOne shall not be held responsible for academic decisions made solely based on AI outputs.

3. User Accounts

Users must create an account to access most EduOne features. Users agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Maintain the security of their account
• Keep login credentials confidential
• Notify EduOne immediately if unauthorized access occurs

EduOne reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to misuse the platform. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:

• Abusing AI features
• Attempting to manipulate grading systems
• Scraping or extracting system data
• Unauthorized access attempts
• Distributing harmful software
• Academic cheating or fraud using the system
• Interfering with platform security

EduOne may suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice if such activities are detected.

5. Wallet and Points System

EduOne operates using a Point-Based Wallet System.

• 1 Point = 1 Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR)
• Points can be used to access certain platform features including AI-powered tools.

Wallet top-ups may be completed through:

• Bank Transfer
• Integrated Payment Gateway (IPG)

EduOne reserves the right to update pricing or point requirements for features at any time.

6. Intellectual Property

Teachers retain ownership of the content they upload, including:

• Exam papers
• Questions
• Answer scripts
• Teaching materials

However, by using EduOne, users agree that EduOne may anonymously and securely use uploaded educational content to improve AI models, system performance, and educational tools. No personally identifiable information will be used for such improvements.

All platform software, technology, and system designs remain the intellectual property of FONIX EDU (PVT) LTD.

7. Data Storage and Security

All platform data is securely stored using Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure. EduOne takes reasonable measures to protect data through:

• Secure cloud infrastructure
• Encryption and security controls
• Controlled access management

However, no online platform can guarantee 100% security, and users acknowledge this inherent risk.

8. Platform Availability

EduOne aims to provide continuous service availability. However, service interruptions may occur due to:

• System maintenance
• Technical failures
• Security updates
• Infrastructure issues

EduOne is not responsible for losses caused by temporary service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FONIX EDU (PVT) LTD shall not be liable for:

• Academic outcomes
• Grading decisions made by users
• AI-generated errors
• Loss of data due to user actions
• Indirect or consequential damages resulting from platform use

Users agree that the platform is used at their own risk.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

EduOne reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms
• Misuse AI tools
• Attempt to exploit the system
• Engage in fraudulent academic activity
• Compromise platform security

Suspension may occur without prior notice.

11. Platform Access

EduOne can be accessed through:

• Official Websites: www.eduone.lk and www.eduonex.com
• Mobile Applications: Android and iOS

Use of the platform through any of these channels is subject to these Terms and Conditions.

12. Modifications to Terms

EduOne may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will be published on the EduOne platform. Continued use of the platform after updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from the use of EduOne shall fall under the jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts.
